Recess Lava Monsters

Recess Lava Monsters is a simple 2D platformer I made for the Fall 2023 Classroom Jam.

Mike and his friends are playing Lava Monsters during recess at school. Help Mike get to the slide by jumping across the playground equipment. But make sure he doesn't touch the ground or one of the other kids, or he'll have to start all over!

Controls:

Up/W: Jump/Raise legs (if on monkey bars)

Left/A: Move left

Right/D: Move right

Use the left mouse button on the Start button to begin

Changelog:

v1.1: Game properly restarts when kids collide with player while on monkey bars. One of the kid's sprites used to be missing a pixel, but is now fixed.

Known Bugs:

1) Seesaws sometimes start jittering uncontrollably. Cause is unknown, but can be avoided by not going back and forth on a seesaw too much. May resolve itself after getting off seesaw.
